Bride’s Bouquets
When a bride chooses her bouquet, it represents her style and personality, setting the tone for the rest of the wedding. There are many different styles of bridal bouquets including the cascade, teardrop, round, traditional, and wildflower bouquets. All of Blooming Blossoms bridal bouquets can be made to hold in one hand. The stems can be wrapped with sentimental items. For instance, some brides like to use a piece of their own dress or a relative’s dress. Jewels, brooches, and rosary beads can also be used to decorate the stem.
Cascading Bridal Bouquet
Cascading bouquets are made in a bridal holder. They normally feature a rounded top of flowers with the flowers flowing down to around the mid-waist. They are normally 2 feet or more in length. Additional features can include ribbons and jewels mixed in with the flowers.
Teardrop Bridal Bouquet
The teardrop bouquet is a miniature version of the cascading bouquet. A medium sized bouquet that is round at the top, this bouquet tapers into a mini-cascade towards the bottom. Usually, this bouquet is 12 to 15 inches in length.
If a bride is having a difficult time deciding between a cascading bouquet and a round bouquet, the teardrop is a great alternative.
Round Bridal Bouquet
Round bouquets are designed using mostly round-shaped flowers. The bouquet is very full with flowers tightly arranged to create the round shape. The final size is roughly the size of a basketball. This is a more Victorian-style bouquet. Normally, a round bouquet will not have greenery and flowers will not be at different heights.
Traditional Bridal Bouquets
Traditional bouquets have a very classically elegant style. These medium-sized bouquets are commonly created using all white flowers. The shape of a traditional bouquet will vary depending on the flowers in the bouquet. Texture can also be created, based on the flower choices.
Wildflower Bridal Bouquets
Wildflower bouquets are created using flowers that could be picked from the garden. These flowers are naturally blooming in the season in the region. These bouquets are less tightly arranged with an informal feel to the design. Wildflower bouquets are great for a less formal outdoor wedding or a wedding in the country.
